Presentation saved from disaster
Mathew from Shift Computers saved the day for me this morning. I had to do a presentation which I couldn’t get to work on the overhead projector at the venue we were at. My name is Trevor Andrew Hold, Managing Director of HOLD Technologies Pty Ltd. I have been involved in high end 3D modeling design for around 10 years now. Over the past few years I have been focused on environmental issues regarding computer, computer peripherals & electrical equipment recycling. During this time I failed to maintain my office and my CAD computer equipment. As a direct result of this my two CAD computers crashed and I was left unable to complete any drafting contracts.
I met Mathew Taylor, from Shift Computer Solutions, due to his passion of the greater good of the environment and received much support for my efforts in my recycling business. I found Mathew to be a very friendly, honest and an outstanding member of our community.
My recycling endeavor has been struggling since the Global Financial Downturn and as a result I have been forced to focus more on drafting contracts. In the past I have had no faith in computer providing companies as nearly every IT business I have had been involved with has lead to problems with me meeting my CAD contract requirements.
Although I hadn’t had any dealings with Mathew on an IT side of things I didn’t hesitate in letting him spec and supply a CAD computer for me to continue with Contract drafting. The only information I gave him was that the main 3D package I would be using was Solid WORKS, however I also use Inventor Pro, AutoCAD & Pro-Engineer.
When I finally ordered the computer, during the peak of the Ipswich Floods, I found Mathew to be swift in supplying exactly what I required in prompt, efficient time at a cost effective price.
Mathew, also has been very helpful in explaining exactly what was supplied and why. He provided all the documentation required for my new CAD computer and has been available for support when required.
I would recommend Mathew and the team at Shift Computer Solutions for any computer requirements and I hope to better utilise all his expertise while I try to get back into main stream drafting and design.
