Apple preparing the Zune Killer?
Rumours are really starting to fly about Apples next generation iPod, which is rumoured to sport a fully touch screen interface. Think Secret have found an Apple document that mentions this directly, and suggests the new device will ship by the end of 1st Quarter 2007.
Then there is this new video talking abou Apple patents and other rumours;
So we could be in for a great battle between Microsoft with the Zune and Apple with their touch screen iPod. Stay tuned.
Disney sells 125,000 movies on iTunes
Walt Disney President and CEO Robert Iger reported Tuesday that his company has sold 125,000 digital movies since they debuted on the iTunes Store last week, already generating $1 million in revenue.
Competing services from Amazon and others fail to offer the simplicity of the iTunes experience, and Apple continues to grab massive market share in digital media distribution.
Its still a shame that all these services suffer from highly restrictive DRM; If you buy a movie from iTunes you cannot burn it to DVD to watch on your TV, for example. the problem for savvy consumers is there are too many non-savvy consumers happy to cough up the dollars for this restricted content.
Considering that Movies are up to US$15, I’d personally rather go buy the DVD, which I can rip onto my computer if I wish.
Plane ends up in the drink

Not sure what these guys are doing that other are not, but see for yourself! A volkswagon ad, sure, but look how nice it looks, and how quickly it starts, and how it never stutters! Perhaps video over the web is not such a bad idea after all.

Google video and YouTube have certainly provided people with lots more ways to waste a lot more time on the internet. Here’s a great example, a video of a fireworks factory exploding!
The Ninja Turtles Return
Kids should be excited to learn that March will see the release of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie, and I’m guessing about the same time will see the computer game released also.
